Shake Them Dreads!

I iAlexxx I is at it again! This time he’s teamed up with Unkel101 to replicate Ross Petty’s Garage Boso/Falken Tire S15. Replicated onto the Top Secret S15, these guys did an amazing job on this paint!

As you can see, the amount of detail put into this replica is AMAZING! For those Ross Petty fans (myself included) you should get your credits together and grab this paint!

It’s up on I iAlexxx I’s storefront for 50,000 cr and since this will be the last release from I iAlexxx I until Forza 4, I urge everyone to go out and get this! Don’t forget to rate it 5 stars! Also, DMI AceXism threw together a tune for the car as well! That’s on his storefront for 5,ooo cr. Don’t forget to grab that either!

Paints Like Crazy!

Looking for a new design to spice up your drift cars, or have you ever wanted a replica to drift around? Look no further than to the shops featured here–they not only have what you want, but maybe something completely unexpected that you want to jump on right way!

First off we have the 6666 Customs Rocket Bunny S13 from the garage of Core Concepts. This is a must have for those interested in style!  Hurry though, as this car is a limited design. Keywords on the Storefront are: [CC] Fubar, Kevbo, Spiike, Rocket Bunny.

Garage Kaido seems to be doing things big, releasing the Team Green Yoshio Factory S14 and the custom widebody Falken R34. Painted by CGC Retro, the Team Green S14 looks impeccable–looking sporty and fun. You can Pick this up on the storefront for 15,000 cr on the Storefront. Keywords: CGC Retro Garage Kaido GK

The R34, on the other hand, was painted by SCS Onevia and what a monster it is. Sporting the iconic Falken teal and blue over it’s widebody, any car with this livery is ready to decimate all in it’s path. Pick this one up for 5,000 cr by searching ‘Crook’ in the storefront.

Garage Kaido painter, | iAlexxx |, has given us a preview of what’s to come in the near future. This Walker Wlikerson Fatlace S13 replica looks spot on, however, he is not done yet. Make sure you jump on this when released!

The Kids Heart R34 is another Limited Edition car by Core Concepts. Painted by Spiike, this car is spot on and for anyone who wants to rock the D1 Street Legal design. I don’t know how many are left (i believe 2 or 3) on the Auction House but if you want this car at this point, you should hop on it as soon as possible, and a large sum of cash would help too!

Well that wraps up this cluster of paint features. Make sure you check back soon, as there may be even more paints coming!

Rouge Industries |

We’ve been hit with an offer that was just incapable of being refused. Rouge Industries approached us a few months back for making a car for Forzahunters to be released within the Drifting Community, which is what purely happened. Nothing in return, we offered to do a shop feature and that’s what was done, not asked of them. They did this purely out of the kindness of their shop effort.

http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/1/4507900/ShowThread.aspx

Rough Industries has been lurking in the shadows for quite some time now. They aren’t the type to fault their skills to lay down paints at will. Led by TGF KillaCali, they have been running at full steam. Previously ran by The RougeReaper who was the leader at the time the offer was put on the table. Nothing can slow this shop down as they do what they please. Their goal isn’t so much to put out the latest replicate cars as fast as possible, but instead they make customs works with great quality and creativeness.

Quote from KillaCali – “Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.” This quote basically just lets you know that you expect ‘GREATNESS’ from these fellas. With a mindset like this, they can do pretty much anything.

Their shop consists of about 10 members that all contribute to the fullest. With TGF KillaCali running things, he has 1 tuner, 6 painters, and 2 photographers. They all have been with the shop for enough time to qualify as the original group. Here is their shop roster.

Shop Owner:

 Tuner/s:

Painter/s:

Photographer/s

Here are a few of their earlier releases.
These paints all represent the will and power that this shop possess. Their creativity is what runs their shop, and that is exactly what generated this project. Known as, ‘Project S throughout the painting process, they desired to keep things secret so it would be 10x epic-er. They strived to create this car off of what they though of Forzahunters. Every staff member at FH has said that they love this car, especially since it’s a S14.
They even went to the process of making a video to showcase this car’s greatness.
This car has already gotten nothing but great comments on the concept. Laced with stellar vents, this car is prepared to be slide as soon as it gets in your personal garage. Quotes from Demon, “Holy vents batman” and Unox, ” Expect retarded high bids”, this car is stunning drifters left and right. Of course we love it, but we it receives the love of people that weren’t even involved, then you know it’s great.
All we here at Forzahunters want to say is thanks. We can’t comprehend how long it took these fellas to knock out something like this. With not even being asked to, they did this out of the kindness of their hearts. And we want to say thank you, Rouge Industries. We will keep a lookout on your guys because this car means so much to us! Thanks again guys!

Christy Carpenter Advan Drift Top Secret S15 – 2011

With the newest release of Christy Carpenter’s Top Secret S15, a lot of people have been picking this bad boy up from Auto-Art’s Storefront. The shop has been putting up some quality work. With painters like DB9D9 knocking off sweet replicas like this, expect to see nothing but straight sex coming out of the paint halls of Auto Art. Don’t forget to pick up the tun to match. Not sure whether the tune is based off of the RL version of the vehicle but if it is or not, I can promise that it is nothing but amazing.

Nice job, guys!

Join the Dark Side! | Evil Empire Pt. 1

| Evil Empire |

Part 1

Ahem, Attention…Your attention ladies and gentlemen…I please be prepared to shield your eyes at any moment due to sheer epicness, awesomeness, and bangingness. Be ware of small side effects like leaving you with loss of sight, small chance of uncontrollable excitement,  and an instantaneous need for alone time. I can’t help but say how amazing this series of cars are. The concept of these cars represent all things evil.

GT: StreakyPeaky

Age: 27

Team: HighRollerZ

Nickname: Streaky or Peaky lol!

Battle car: Mazda RX7 Spirit-R

We got a chance to talk with Streaky one-on-one to get a little inside information!

  • So, Streaky how did you come up with idea for the very astounding series, Evil Empire?

The paints were originally spotted in a video posted in the DL by BkS, showing some Russian drifting. My teammate HRZ Dori Zoku and myself were very attracted to a RX7…. I loved its sleek and menacing matt black front, and Dori had spotted a Star Wars character on the side. He did alot more research, and we found the Evil Empire Drift Team had more than just 1 awesome car….

  • Who was all involved in the project?

I wanted to attempt the paints fully myself, but due to a lack of time and talent, I asked my good friend Me Monkey 8 Me to paint the Star Wars characters, leaving me to concentrate on the logo work and layout. On the Shelby Mustang there is a graffiti style ‘Shelby GT’ logo, so I asked the ever-awesome Gr333nz to do that, and Dori took care of all the details, body work, double-checking, as well as painting the S2000 promo car!

  • Why did you choose these guys to help you with it?

Well we all know Me Monkey 8 Me is amazing at replicating almost anything, and he is also astoundingly fast…. Gr333nz has done some awesome graf and cartoon work before, so I had to ask him, and of course Dori was just involved from the start lol!

  • Now, how much profit roughly have you made off the EE series?

We’re selling the paints in Doris SF for 10k, and more than 80 have sold so far…

  • Were you expecting this much success with the cars?
In some respects yeah. as we werent the only peeps to take an interest in these cars, but of course you can never tell for sure how sales will go…
  • Why did you even want to build these cars?

Dori and me just loved the look of the FD, and once we found all the other cars we just had to replicate them on Forza! They are really cool paints, and the colour scheme just seems to suit almost any car!

  • How long did the first, original project take you and the guys? Not including extra customs.
Well we spent nearly a week finding decent source pics, and Monkey got the characters painted up within a couple of days. Then we found more characters and better source pics, so Monkey spent another couple of days painting the new 1s, and repainting Darth Vader. Then we found another couple of cars which were sorted within a couple of days…. So it should of taken a couple of weeks at the most, but due to my RL commitments etc, and then moving house and being offline for nearly 2 months, the series probably took 3 months or more lol!
  • Why did you decide to take customs orders with the Evil Empire cars?

I had wanted a personal version of the paint for my Spirit-R, and Dori wanted a version for his BMW, my other team mates all wanted a different version too, then I tried a few other cars, and before I knew it, I had nearly 20 EE cars in my garage! So I just knew that it would be a good idea to give people the chance to create their own custom version!

  • How did go about the project? Meaning were you planning it strictly for profit, or just to share amongst your buddies?

We always planned on selling the paints once completed, although all the team wanted a similar paint for battles… But we knew that Monkey likes to put his paints up for free, so profit wasnt really to much of a concern. When it came down to it tho, we used up Doris free space on his SF and decided to charge 10k. And all custom orders will be sold at near to build cost only…

  • With it latest booming success, are you happy with the results?

Yes I am really happy with how the paints have turned out, and good sales defo please me lol! Im actually struggling with all the custom orders atm lol!

  • Roughly, how many customs orders have you done?

I think so far I have about 10 WIPs on the go….

  • How any total cars have you made with Evil Empire designs?

Its now gotta be over 30 lol! Everything from Jeeps and Holdens, to Supras and Eclipses!

  • Can you give us a brief description of the real life Evil Empire team?
Sure, they started out to compete in the 2010 Russian Drift Series, 3 drivers using a RX7, a S15 and a R34. They had all come from a previous team called Miami Drift, who had been very successful in previous comps. I think they won the 2010 RDS, and you can see the final battle here! =D

It was good talking with you Streaky, and stay tuned for Part 2 of the series!

DriftFX Irish ‘Final Countdown’!| VFD Interview

To crank things up, we got some time to sit and talk to Irish and his S14. Irish has been making a name for his self lately in the Drifting Lounge. From his shops to his free-caring spirit, DFX Irish has made nothing but good comments come in the path of DFX. So, we thought it would be cool to sit and chat with him about his plans for VFD and his MP ‘S14!
Quick info:

GT: DriftFX Irish
Age:19
Nickname: Irish,My friends are very clever people haha
Car Number: n/a
Team(VFD): n/a
Teammates:/n/a
Car: s14
Tires(Manu): Nitto
Engine: Nissan 350z V6
Horsepower:535
Suspension: Tein springs and dampers.
Brakes: AP Racing brakes.
Wheels: Advan RGII (Matt Powers` Gram Lights)
Sponsors: Need For Speed,Nitto,Royal Purple,DriftWorks,Replay,MAX,Holley EFI,GTI,KW(even with Tein suspension xD),Gram Lights
  • Now I know you’re from DFX, anything you would like to say referring to them?
They are a really cool group of guys, and though we went through a spell of forced inactivity recently,we are back on track (literally haha) and have some stuff in the works for the community,so keep an eye out 😉
  • Did DFX help you grow as a drifter?
Definately, without Wrenn`s help with tuning,FMDL Sections, and giving me my first team,i would never be in the position i`m in today, such as competing in FMDL.
  • Why did you choose to drift?

Well i fully admit i was never into drifting before Forza, but by chance i hooked up with NINE Tenguku86 (Previously decobyrne106) and NINE Dori Ken,who were Irish and well into drifting.I owe a lot to them too, mainly deco,as they introduced me to Forza drifting, and sent me cars and tunes to start me off,so a big thanks to you guys, and a few others who were with us around the start of last year 🙂

  • How did you get into the sport of Drifting?
Through Forza unbelievably haha.Once i was hooked on Forza drifting i started to watch D1 on Youtube, and obviously that just had me in awe.Now i`ve gotten big into Formula Drift (Matt Powers FTW!! haha :P)
  • What was your first car?

Very first drifter was an ae86,with the black and yellow rockstar paint.

  • What is your current drift car?

Currently i use an R34 (surprise surprise :P) as my Battle car,but i`m also just as happy in my r32,s14,is350,05 WRX,s204 and a couple others.

  • How is the setup like for your drift car in terms of engine performance and handling?
I Aim for a smooth power/torque curve,if there is a big jump,it wont do.So if the standard engine has a jump,i`ll look for a swap.Always twin screw superchargers,if possible, can`t remember the last time i used a turbo on a car haha. For handling,i use a general set of numbers ive found work the best for the alignment section, then for the suspension i use APX Walkers tuning guide religiously. It works perfectly for me,never have to tweak the suspension settings,so a huge thanks to Walker too 🙂
  • Who are your drift idols?
MATT POWAHHHHHHZZZZZ!!haha The guy is just so laid back, all about the fun side of drifting, and,as most of us saw at long beach,he was willing to annoy a lot of people to do well this year. With his new setup im sure he`ll be one of the top drivers this season.I`m keeping my eyes glued to the stream every event.
  • Who among your current drifting peers that you consider to be your closest competitor and rival?
Well i don`t often drift with many people outside of my team, unfortunately haha But DriftFX Wrenn is a really cool guy, always looking to improve his cars, puts a lot of time into them, and it pays off,i don`t think ive ever beatin him in KOTH haha!Outside of my team,Ive drifted with some SJD guys, and END,and they were both super good.
  • What plans do you have for VFD Season 3?

I won`t be able to make it,but my Plan would have been to ake it past qualifying haha! I want to take a “powers” approach to VFD,which is why im using an s14.It`s not as good as my battle r34,but its fun.i`d rather go and lose every race but have fun in the s14,than go win every one (not that i would xD) in the r34.

  • On a personal note, how or what would you do to improve the sport of Drifting in Forza?
Upon reading this question,i would bet that 99% of readers thought this………SMOKE!!! haha it`s all thats missing for me,i still find pulling off a sick tandem as much fun and as exciting as i did the first time i did one, which doesnt really seem the casearound the DL these days.FMDL,SYDC,Forzahunters and Slydelife have kept up the enjoyment for me personally. Now with VFD starting,it should add that bit more.
  • Any hints and guidelines for individuals who want to start drifting?

Definately if you`re new, check out APX Walkers Drift tuning guide for competitions.Invaluable to those less “mechanichally inclined” haha 😛 I would try hook up with some experienced guys, having someone you can actually ask questions and get answers from is so helpful.Learn to tune your own cars,i don`t want to discredit projects like Fizzys free beginner tunes,But other peoples tunes are built to their feel, their style,so you MAY not get the best results possible.Just do your homework on forza tuning, there is plenty of resources availabe, use them, and reap the benefits.

Here’s a few of Irish’s beast that he tends to mess around it.
As far as VFD is concerned,i would have loved to take part, but its not possible atm, maybe next time 🙂
As a final note i`d just like to say thanks a million to Plankton, and all the forzahunters staff for this, and wish all FMDL and VFD competitors the best of luck in the competitions.
Big shout out to my DFX family : Wrenn,Demonic,Unox,Tolly, White and Wasabi.

Coming Soon…Pt.1

Coming Soon! Evil Empire revealed! Dive deep inside the minds of StreakyPeaky, Me monkey 8, and HRZ Dori Zoku to see how the replicated these outstanding cars to look spotless!

V-Leds Dodge Viper 2011 | Spiikeee

Need it be said? Spiikeee has been all over the Drifting Lounge. He is known for his smooth drifting and his R32. Some of his closer friends know him as the legit painter that he is. This guy is just downright awersome at what he does. He is unbelievaby accurate and with this one.

He decided to lay down Dean Kearney’s Viper sweet vinyl that he rocks for  the 2011 season. Bringing it to you for free, Spiikeee obviously doesn’t care for the money, he does it for the passion. This painter definitely keeps painting fun!

Head over to his SF to pick this sick replica up!

The Man of the Hour|xMadxAnglex

So, we invited a few FD drivers out to the track today for a little free track time. We mainly wanted to use this session for photo time and they gladly accepted! To kick things off we caught Mad Mike and Chris sitting fiercely with their pro-spec’d cars. These two guys have been on the cover of FD for a while and I’m sure they will be there much longer!

Moving on, we got a few shots as Chris and JTP lined up. Chris is obviously the more known of the two, but in the last 2 years, JTP has made name for himself out in FD. He has been knocking off drivers left and right and this go around, he has his eyes on the prize. With his added HP in the pre-season, he has been increasing speed rapidly. And I think that we will see this guy on a higher level this year!

Back to these two pretty boys. Clean drifters, friendly people, and respectable men is what comes to mind we I see these two guys pop up. I can’t believe how much these two guys have grown. They continue to knock out some heavy hitters left and right and it seems that we will see alot of these guys this time!

Though they may be on different teams, these two guys drift like they have been around each other for a long time. They have always been flashy drivers, but it seems that both of these guys made the exact same adjustments and they seem to be drifting in the same fashion now. I wish that we could see these guys on the friendly side of this war.

We convinced these guys to show us a sneak peek of what these cars but before, we had Chris and one of his crew mates to driver his older 350 and these two just tore it up.

Mike and Chris finally ripped this track for the last time for today. They will definitely bring the heat this weekend and I can’t wait to see these guys go head-to-head! That will be a battle for the ages!

Packing up | Toyota Week

https://i0.wp.com/farm6.static.flickr.com/5267/5598091369_c1dc908bc1_z.jpg

We’re going to start this entry with a different genre of Toyota’s to finish off this epic week! All good things come to an end sooner or later, and this will too. So, before the night is over we will put one sexy Toyota in the light! That blog post will be made later on tonight, though. In this one, we are focusing on the ‘underdog’ of Toyota, which would be the forever smooth riding Toyota Altezza! It’s not all about the Supra that always kills tracks, think of these rides as the ‘little sister that always stuck by it’s side’! Too many to name, but I just want to say great work to the entire community and hopefully we’ll do another one of these in the future!
