Random Snap>> It’s More Than a Car

Fizzy has always been a boss at photography that expresses his cars like no other. He’s original, smooth, and has style. Taste is more than a nice colour and wheels, and it takes a good mindset to design such a beauty. Fizzy is a quiet fella, but he let’s the looks of his rides describe the type of person he is. Don’t test him.

Garage Feature>>Core Concepts – ‘More Than A Shop!

Well it’s been a week post-release of the best racing simulator to hit Xbox 360. Most have had time to sort out their mains to slide and hit tracks hard. Many have been going in the right direction to originality but even the blind can slowly see where the fan boy train is headed. As you can see, its’ like everyone’s cars is nice so its obvious that you will need more than just a missing spoiler to make it onto Forzahunters. Don’t misread that statement, that’s just the bar/standard we are going to set for the bigger features. But for now, eat sexiness!

As one of the hottest car shops in the Drifting Lounge to date, Core Concepts has been creating concepts to the core for all of the community. With the new aspects that Forza has given us, they can make their replicas even more detailed and closer to the real life original now.

Spike has been hard at work for them and within the week of release, he has dished out his first Forza 4 replica. It is the Phil Morrison’s Driftworks S15. This car has been favored by most of the drifters for awhile, and to actually get that no-spoiler look to make the car irl, probably makes all of them wet themselves.

Core Concepts has always been known to keep business official by making awesome GFX to match their release threads. It will costs 35,000cr, and with the quick money earning system that was installed, many should not have a problem with paying for this sucker. Spike has been a member of CC for awhile, so it’s not uncommon to see this, this soon and expect more in the next few days.

At CC, they have a pretty stacked line-up that will be pretty hard to match in this game. With FubarWales leading them, nothing can go wrong, ‘cept they go away for abit without telling anyone. 😉 All jokes. They will definitely be here for awhile. With their new motto, ‘More Than A Shop’, forsure gives the surrounding of that they will be doing bigger things in FM4. They’ve announced that they will be opening a CC BodyWork shop, and honestly I don’t think that the DL will be able to handle it. They will prob’ explode.

They really have everything planned out and have even put out a second release already. It’s the Matt House MPH Customs Rx-7.

This one will go for 20.000 cr, so everyone should bag this car into their collection of sweet rides.

Guys, with all this said, there’s no need for me to go on. We all know what great of a shop Core Concepts is. All we have to do is be patient and just be amazed at the work they put out. Before I go, I guess I should tell you that we are now partnered with Core Concepts and with that, you will see them get more publicity on here through their releases. Keep killin’ it, fellas.

Can’t. Sleep. Must. DRIFT!

Its just about 2:30am here in New Jersey and I can’t sleep so I guess I’ll be the one to get a jump on things now that alot of us have our copies of Forza 4 and are happily building our drift machines. I’m just going to come right out and say that I LOVE this game! I was up early on release day and could not stop refreshing the Show Your Drift Cars thread. So many people are already posting some really nice rides/pictures. I have to share a few that peaked my interest, check these out…

SRS BZNS went GT style with his 240, looking real D1 spec and I like it.

I cannot wait to see what else comes out of the wood work once we get into deeper pages of the SYDC thread but rest assured ForzaHunters will be here to showcase the talent. That’s all I have for now so I’m going to get back to building my own cars. Catch you guys next time, LATER!

Behind the Lenses>> Pottae

Photography is a big thing in the Drifting Lounge. Only few really get it right, but most can hold their own. There are a lot of underground photographers that don’t seek recognition for their work. And to be honest, they are probably the best at what they do. This particular guys, is actually pretty known in the underground circuit for the tournament he runs. What we classify as underground, is mainly just not on FM.net. He runs everything that he does through another website that is oriented for an entirely different language.

Pottae usually does a lot of shops’ with his work, and they are 99% of the time, epic. Don’t doubt that he can’t take a nice unedited shot, but he favors a nice rainy, shop. Reason that these shots are so significant is because in Forza, they are no weather changes.

This shot was probably the most moving of the set. He definitely got the composure of the shot correct. It just signifies a lot behind. He does basically what a lot of photographers cannot do in FM.

Just pure sexiness.

Okay, this next shot deserves so much love and I’m sure you can tell why…

Forzahunters love, FTW! Pottae is a nice guy and we enjoy his work. We hope to see him partake in some FM4 photography and heck, if he does, might see his on the Forzahunters Media Staff.

FM4 News>> MichaelXboxEvolved – Demo Gameplay & Commentary Impressions With Kami HD

First off, I would like to say much love to MichaelXboxEvolved. Those guys do some amazing things with their channel bringing nothing but the best content from gameplays and reviews. Keep doin’ it big, guys.

As FM4 approaches, more and more emotions get high as do expectations. Kami has always been a Forza faithful and to see this type of eagerness is not uncommon. He took some time to review the demo with the guys at MichaelXboxEvolved as they sat and talked about it. Here’s the video of their time with the demo.

Also guys, take some time to check out Micheal’s channel. It’s really a great source for any avid gamer.

FM4 News>> To whom it may concern..

Ehh, apologies for the lack of updating you guys about FM4 news but it looks like the SYDC 2.0 is a great way to keep track of things. Here’s a few snapshots that were seen there.

Drift Bonanza x Forzahunters >> Partnership!

I’m glad to let you guys now that we are officially partnering with Drift Bonanza for the FM4 season!

What started off as a mere random idea by Fizzy & GroupA, ended up in a masterpiece and an excellent event that only added to the sheer epicsauce of the Drifting Community. These two fellas have probably compounded the perfect amount of fun and competition. Yes, we have Virtual Formula Drift, European Drift Championship, and British Drift Championship. But those competitions are to seriously compete and have fun along the way. Drift Bonanza is almost the polar opposite, with putting fun first and the competition is just the extra sprinkles.

Basically now, Drift Bonanza and Forzahunters are officially partnering bigtime. Somewhat similar to what you see us doing with VFD. We want to provide consistent media coverage for the famous drifting event. Nothing less that amazing if the season goes as plan is what you viewers will get. Things such as recaps, videos, and highlights will be provide. Basically be prepared to be lose your pants!

Here’s a little background on the first season of Drift Bonanza. Drift Bonanza brings out a wide variety of cars. Cars such as, MKIII, AE86’s, S13’s, S14’s, S15’s, E30, and of course Skylines. This isn’t exactly the competition to bring American muscle, or your serious drifters. People will laugh, simply said. Drift Bonanza isn’t what that’s about. It’s a competition that puts people that don’t have big bank to drift what they brung’, while still having the chance to be competitive. For instance, DMI AceXism, owns a heavily sponsored Toyota ’86, and Impulse owned a low-powered daily MKII, and though one was obviously a bit more powered, Impulse’s vehicle still had the chance to put up a chance. What’s fun without Simulation Damage? So, of course it has that. Before each round, there should be a 10-15min practice session, also, events should be posted one week in advance to give drivers ample time to prepare.

Basically we told you FM4 would bring new things, and this is just the beginning. Drift Bonanza is one of the DL’s best competitions because of it’s originality. They didn’t make another over-done competition for the same drifters, yet the made a competition where even the worst drifters could grow and learn by tandemning with other more skilled drivers. All credit goes to the two amazing creative men, Fizzy & GroupA. Nice job, guys and lookin’ forward to a great season!

Random Snap>> Impactz’ swag

I’ve seen photos cropped, rotated, flipped, and dilated all different ways ‘cept this one. This is just creative, and simple also. It’s airy feeling just makes this shot seems like it’s on it’s own level in the photographic game. Impactz new team seemed to bring out a good thing in him, if he keeps putting out stuff like this.

Great shot, mate.

Random Snap>> Mad Colourful smoke.

Alright, first impressions… let’s see….

Amazing, no other word for it. It’s nice when you see this go down in real life, but it even looks even better when its been touched up. The tires from this Supra dished out some neat smoke and of course with the skills like Alvar, he made the shot even better w/ the nice smoke effect. Enjoy,

Car Feature>> Seaking’s ZR1

Alright, it’s been a hectic week. Late nights, football games, and hanging out with friends. We all have been slowly drifting away from FM3, and making prep for FM4. Only the die-hearts have to strong will to continue to run their long-cherished main beaters in the 3rd installation of what we’ve came to love. And before a few rage, that is not a bad thing.

So as you can see, Forzahunters has had a face lift from that dark, gloomy background that was here before. It wasn’t bad, but it was a first. Like everyone’s first gamertag, you knew it was bad but since it was your first, you had legit reasons for it being bad. So, Tiger being the creative guy he is, he begins asking around for a graphics guy to re-vamp the longest living forza-media blog to date. He gets replied to by SCS Onevia. Onevia is a great guy when it comes to anything such as banners, sigs, and wall papers. He’s been doing them for quite some time now and has made it a great hobby to provide the Drifting Lounge with spectacular graphics. As you can see the finished product resembles the actual Speedhunters design! But enough about that, just had to give respect and credit where it is due. Nice job guys!

Moving on, now I think just about anyone who knows me, knows I am a Corvette die-heart fan. I work on Vette’s in real life, in a Corvette club, and my dad owns a ’82 model. So, to see a ZR1 dressed down in a great marble effect and an awesome set of wheels just makes me tingle. O9K Seaking has made somewhat a return from the underground/GT5 hiatus to post a few pics. Hopefully this means the FMDA II runner-up will make a full return in FM4.

His ZR1, of course with the wheel arches to make a little girl squirm, is obviously having no problems getting it’s back end out there to slide around the corners of Ladera.

Also, does anyone know if Ladera is making a return? If you’re a Ladera fan, please let it be known!

Even though the effect on the car is almost invisible from some angles, it looks sweet that way. An over-painted Corvette is just a crime. Seaking probably went to the furthest point in the area of vinyls with this one, and it definitely does look sweet.

Hopefully I can get some track time with this fella and see this car up and personal. And maybe even run my Vette against his just for the fun of it. He definitely looks like he knows what he is doing while he’s behind the wheel of this beast. With the vinyl aspect of FM4, I’m sure we will see this make a return in FM4.

Nice car, Seaking. Hit me up if you want to drift this bad boy for a nice humorous blog that will follow! That goes to any Corvette drifters, well make that any Chevy drifters. Till then, keep pushing those cars hard until FM4, cause then it’s time to start all over again..
