Open door. sit in bucket seat. strap on seat belt. turn the ignition. flip the circuit breakers. check in with spotter. watch the takeoff light. kick ass.

That was the sequence in which AoM Impactz did things yesterday afternoon. He definitely brought his best as his danced all the way to the top podium! His R32 performed as he wanted it to, and I think it is quite safe to say he was proud of the way it stood the ultimate test.
The entire competition was definitely epic. Starting with the Top 32, drivers were hitting the unfamiliar course with a vengeance. Though some were experiencing some troubles with their cars, drivers made the audience cheer. So, just big ups to the fellas in the chat stream. Also, thanks to SCS Spitsy for running the livestream for all of us to see. And of course, the main man and his right-hand man, PND Hitsuguya and DMI Acex.
Impactz’ R32 was prepped for the fight early and we even saw him strap up and take a few hot laps down a closed street a few times. He definitely did all he could to get this car in it’s best form and run it at it hardest.
His battle with LightningHiro was forsure the highlight of his run. Their backwards entries made the crowd go wild. His attitude when he stepped out of the car, was completely different from when he sat in the beautiful beast. Hiro almost knocked the victor off, even though he lost, Hiro was no where near mad about his run for the title today.
Another driver who impressed a couple people is Fussion. He was not the favorite among the people as he was just another driver driving a Ford Mustang. He left the track with a 3rd place finish and I am quite sure that he is proud of himself, Falken, and his Stang.
Of course, we have to highlight our own drivers Plankton and CarbonFX. Both of these guys pushed their cars to the limit and when I mean THE limit, let’s just say Plankton left the track with a broken axle after hitting a gator on the outside clipping zone after he threw his car out wide.
Carbon’s Yokohama Stang was just downright nasty. He didn’t quite perform his upmost as his car was having difficulties, but he definitely put his car to the level where he wasn’t leaving anything left out on the track. Both these Forzahunters reppers represented, and we are quite proud of the outcome, and hopefully we can see more drivers repping the FH logo on their vehicles.
Some of the underdog drivers came with heat also. Here is Ryda’s BMW that he brought to the show. May not have did the best he could, but I think the experience was good for the fella to get exposed to a new kind of competition.
Demon was out there, but his visit was cut short as he lost in the Top 32 to Domo who shocked everyone as he over powered the VFD 2-time victor.
For now, that’s all. But we’ll be back with more in a later post. Be prepared as the next round has already been announced and promised. We’re heading to The Wall, and no one is safe. Till’ then, see ya!
-Plankton.
