Yeeeeaaaahhhhhh Buuuuddddyyyy! (My new saying so you’ll be seeing that a lot more). VPA, more commonly known in its longer format as Virtual Pro-Am, is back and a little over 2 weeks away! It’s the first step to competing with the best on one of Forza Motorsport’s biggest drifting stages. Next to FMDA and FMDL, this is where the competition is at so get in on it now if you haven’t already!. Those looking to get one of those coveted VFD (Virtual Formula Drift) licenses need to step up to the plate and get in on the action! I know I have! Look for me to be running a Nissan 350z with teal Advan RGIIs.
Round 1 will be held on Road Atlanta and qualifying will start on Thursday, November 10th. So sign up (I’ll link you below) and get your car ready. 2 weeks is not a lot of time!
I’m glad to let you guys now that we are officially partnering with Drift Bonanza for the FM4 season!
What started off as a mere random idea by Fizzy & GroupA, ended up in a masterpiece and an excellent event that only added to the sheer epicsauce of the Drifting Community. These two fellas have probably compounded the perfect amount of fun and competition. Yes, we have Virtual Formula Drift, European Drift Championship, and British Drift Championship. But those competitions are to seriously compete and have fun along the way. Drift Bonanza is almost the polar opposite, with putting fun first and the competition is just the extra sprinkles.
Basically now, Drift Bonanza and Forzahunters are officially partnering bigtime. Somewhat similar to what you see us doing with VFD. We want to provide consistent media coverage for the famous drifting event. Nothing less that amazing if the season goes as plan is what you viewers will get. Things such as recaps, videos, and highlights will be provide. Basically be prepared to be lose your pants!
Here’s a little background on the first season of Drift Bonanza. Drift Bonanza brings out a wide variety of cars. Cars such as, MKIII, AE86’s, S13’s, S14’s, S15’s, E30, and of course Skylines. This isn’t exactly the competition to bring American muscle, or your serious drifters. People will laugh, simply said. Drift Bonanza isn’t what that’s about. It’s a competition that puts people that don’t have big bank to drift what they brung’, while still having the chance to be competitive. For instance, DMI AceXism, owns a heavily sponsored Toyota ’86, and Impulse owned a low-powered daily MKII, and though one was obviously a bit more powered, Impulse’s vehicle still had the chance to put up a chance. What’s fun without Simulation Damage? So, of course it has that. Before each round, there should be a 10-15min practice session, also, events should be posted one week in advance to give drivers ample time to prepare.
Basically we told you FM4 would bring new things, and this is just the beginning. Drift Bonanza is one of the DL’s best competitions because of it’s originality. They didn’t make another over-done competition for the same drifters, yet the made a competition where even the worst drifters could grow and learn by tandemning with other more skilled drivers. All credit goes to the two amazing creative men, Fizzy & GroupA. Nice job, guys and lookin’ forward to a great season!
And let the games begin! With a great qualifying round, the battles are set and the track is ready! Qualifying was amazing, and honeslty I can’t wait for what’s in store for us this evening. The track staff is having a few track/technical problems, so battles were postponed for a while, but everything will run smoothly once it gets going, meaning livestream and all!
We got a good amount of sponsored teams that is going to send a few drivers out to compete all season-long! Hopefully no car troubles will hold anyone back.

SCS Spitsy was caught out at the track doing a shakedown with Sega. These two fellas are definitely ready for today. Can’t wait to see these guys take the track.
So, be prepared to see that ^, 16x! Can’t wait to see what guys have in store for tandem battles, it’s a whole lot different that drifting the track by yourself versus someone being on your door! Good luck to the Top 32!
Wrenny hasjust announced D1SL for FM4. Apparently it will follow along the same lines as SLDA, for those who remember it from back at the beginning of FM3. I haven’t been able to get much from it, but here is what I did manage to get:
Guidelines:
Forza limitations:
PI- from Low B class upto A class 550
BHP – 500 (street runners rarely have more then that, especially daily run drive to track and drift cars)
Engine mods:
– Must have original model engine (no swaps)
– Aspiration type must be original aswell (no swaps)
– Individual mods can go upto sport
Handling and platform:
– Full rollcage is a must
– Street weight reduction at most (d1ls requires 2 seats and a working radio, sport removes your radio)
– Brakes ARB’s and suspension upto race (iv seen street legal scoobies -cosworth imported and tuned- running em, although pricey they are legal!)
Transmition:
Everything upto sport apart from gearbox (must be original)
Bodykit:
– No forza aero
– Painted/replicated parts allowed, but remember it must be legal so you can replicate no hood – engine bay showing etc… as this is illegal)
Wheels:
– Rim size any
– Width any
– the only street legal wheel limitation i know of is your wheels must be either in line or withing your arches, incase fm4 has this your tyres cannot be spaced outside your arches)
Here are the regulations so far. Keep your eyes peeled for an interview with Wrenny about D1SL coming in FM4.
VIP has always been a great scene to get into if you don’t have the pocket to build yourself a drift car. Building a VIP car requires money for visual modifications and that’s it. No HKS exhaust, no supercharged LS1, no nothing. Just that little weekly check you get can get you one of the best looking machines on the street.
There was a pretty nice turn-out of cars along with a nice variety. The drivers were quite friendly and it was nice to see some new and old faces. Newlife was there and he drove his [INSERT] out the meet. It looked quite stunning and even though it was a little higher priced than some of the other cars, it still sported the VIP look well. TGF FatCat also drove his Jaguar to the showcase, but opposite of Newlifes’ Jag, he had a sweet two-tone paint action going on. He also had a new spring kit adjusted onto his vehicle so he had a pretty stellar stance on his foreign devil. Mista Steezy showed up in his beautiful Mercedes. He had a pretty nice combo going on with a nice set of wheels to give his car a very sweet VIP feel to it. He is known for his stellar kit work to the more expensive side of the automotive industry. Unfortunately, I was able to get a close look at it as I was experiencing DLC issues. Sorry, Steez.
DMI Domo came out to the party in his Infiniti G35 Coupe. This coupe had a sweet base metallic added to it with a quite stanced set of chrome wheels. TDK Gypsy drove his low riding Caddy and definitely had a car that you would see with this kind of customization out on the street. He showed up, and for sure showed’ out. Dr. SlyMan is not the ost known fella around the DL, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have the means to build a sweet ride. He created a machine that you definitely wouldn’t see driving down the road everyday. Well..maybe Hollywood Blvd, but his Bentley Continental was probably the highest priced car out at the showcase. And lastly, we had PurpleNarwall drive out and let us view his personal monster. He had been keeping this Audi closed up for quite some time now, and he chose that reveling it at a FH meet was a proper thing to do. His S5 was laced down with a nice metallic blue paint, and it looked magnificent.
The idea of hosting a VIP Hotness Meet arose from in event of all of these try-hard tournaments, there needs to be some relief. And how can you get any more relief than pulling out one of your slammed-beautys’ and taking them for a spin around a lovely track?
What’s Up Interwebz!! Carbon here, coming at you with some awesome rides and info about the Forza Drift Matsuri coming up in less than 24 hours. As most of you know it was started back in December by your’s truely and a few of my teammates from BSD. It’s mission is to move away from the tense battling and tourny’s and move towards the fun side of the amazing sport we call drifting! It’s all about the tandems and limbo’s and all that kind of crazy loco fun! The drivers making it out there are some of the best from VFD, EDC, BDC and various other major tournaments, so you best believe there will be some awesome drifting. Check out the list of drivers we have this season.

Now that, is sexy ^_^ Anyways we are getting geared up for the fun putting together some awesome rides. I have been out in the past week sneaking a peek at some of the cool cars in their habbitats doing what they do best. I’ve gotten some crazy good pictures too, check these out!
Some beautys in there!
Alrighty everyone, be looking out for some more stuff on this event in the next few days!
It’s that time again. After a very successful round one, Group and Fizzy are back with the ever so well thought up rule-set of Forza. DB brings fun and a more strategic form of drifting, versus the balls out, who has the most horsepower race. Drivers have registered their cars adn have been prepping them for the track. We have a list of drivers that are planning to attend and with one week of advance, hopefully there will be a perfect attendance record.
Plankton – S14
Alvarp – IS350
Impulse – TBA
Cougar – IS300
Silent Ninja – AE86
GB – FC
Hot seat: Fadam – IS300
As you can see, Fadam already snagged the hotseat. For future reference, if you plan on signing up for this, be sure to know the rules and they are strict, but it makes for all the more fun when things are organized well.
The focus of DB is not winning every round. It’s enjoy the art of drifting, while doing it in a car that you love to drift, not so much that you do the best in. With that said, hope to see some great competition out there at the track!
