Car Feature>> There may be many…

Well, this R34 peaked my interest only because it’s simplicity. Nearly all the Skyline’s that you see now are all customized to the ‘T’ and you will rarely find some that are clean and rocked with pride nowadays.

This particular one was sitting quite sexily when it was spotted by this photographer.

This car could probably hold it’s own on the track also. It’s aggressive stance kinda scares away rookie drivers, but I’m more than sure that it will its a great car as far as handling goes. Hope to see more of this beauty!

Photography>> Ball so hard

And………………..    he’s back. SnF ou82 has finally hit us with some baller shots. He has been slowly been posting shots here and there and it seems it’s taken him no time to find some cinematic settings.

He was never known to take standard shots that you would see on a regular basis, but his shots were always different. Some were deeply contrasted like above, or something like below where it’s B&W. Whatever he takes, it will most likely be a sick one.

Car Feature>> Simplicity is Provocative

You just can’t beat simplicity. Yes, you always hear me talking about originality, but who doesn’t enjoy a clean, simple 240SX? Skyline’s 240 has a great coat with a nice set of shoes to match. I’m sure it can handle itself on the track, and hopefully with some practice, we could see it competing against some V8’s in VFD FM4!

Most would buy a 240, and immediately start dishing stupid money into it. But Skyline has bigger plans for this car, now what they are exactly, are beyond my little mind. But whatever it is, I’m sure it’s legit!

His photography’s not bad either!

Skyline’s 240 will definitely be getting more publicity from us if he does decide to take it on the competitive side of the drifting world. Till then, keep owning kids.

Car Spotlight>> A True Legend

Many people are confused today in the community on what makes a legend. Due to that being a social/moral imperative, I’m not going to dive into that. The community is so wound up in what it takes to get others to ‘like’ you, they forget how to be themselves. Luckily, this drifter has both sides of that life.

Random Graffiti has been in the community for well over 3 years, and doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. He is most known for rocking his forever changing Infiniti G35. He has been driving it ever since the start of Forza 3, if I’m correct. He usually keeps to himself, but with the uprising of the fourth installment of Forza coming fast, he has emerged from his low-key hiatus.

His G35 resembles a lot more than just a nice car, cause the DL has enough of those. Cars must have some sense originality of their own. They also need to have a history. Seems like everyone has the money to grab any car they want, but its only the ones who cherish the car that actually have the ability to develop it to a stage of the upmost. Graffiti has done exactly that.

Although this isn’t the paint that his car is usually known to be seen in, he still rocks it religiously. He doesn’t sway from his style prior to what the R34 fan boy’s think. He will continue to rock it in FM4, I’m sure. This fella has earned my respect as he has others. I can only imagine what this car will sound and run like in the upcoming release of Forza 4.

Car Feature>> Seaking’s ZR1

Alright, it’s been a hectic week. Late nights, football games, and hanging out with friends. We all have been slowly drifting away from FM3, and making prep for FM4. Only the die-hearts have to strong will to continue to run their long-cherished main beaters in the 3rd installation of what we’ve came to love. And before a few rage, that is not a bad thing.

So as you can see, Forzahunters has had a face lift from that dark, gloomy background that was here before. It wasn’t bad, but it was a first. Like everyone’s first gamertag, you knew it was bad but since it was your first, you had legit reasons for it being bad. So, Tiger being the creative guy he is, he begins asking around for a graphics guy to re-vamp the longest living forza-media blog to date. He gets replied to by SCS Onevia. Onevia is a great guy when it comes to anything such as banners, sigs, and wall papers. He’s been doing them for quite some time now and has made it a great hobby to provide the Drifting Lounge with spectacular graphics. As you can see the finished product resembles the actual Speedhunters design! But enough about that, just had to give respect and credit where it is due. Nice job guys!

Moving on, now I think just about anyone who knows me, knows I am a Corvette die-heart fan. I work on Vette’s in real life, in a Corvette club, and my dad owns a ’82 model. So, to see a ZR1 dressed down in a great marble effect and an awesome set of wheels just makes me tingle. O9K Seaking has made somewhat a return from the underground/GT5 hiatus to post a few pics. Hopefully this means the FMDA II runner-up will make a full return in FM4.

His ZR1, of course with the wheel arches to make a little girl squirm, is obviously having no problems getting it’s back end out there to slide around the corners of Ladera.

Also, does anyone know if Ladera is making a return? If you’re a Ladera fan, please let it be known!

Even though the effect on the car is almost invisible from some angles, it looks sweet that way. An over-painted Corvette is just a crime. Seaking probably went to the furthest point in the area of vinyls with this one, and it definitely does look sweet.

Hopefully I can get some track time with this fella and see this car up and personal. And maybe even run my Vette against his just for the fun of it. He definitely looks like he knows what he is doing while he’s behind the wheel of this beast. With the vinyl aspect of FM4, I’m sure we will see this make a return in FM4.

Nice car, Seaking. Hit me up if you want to drift this bad boy for a nice humorous blog that will follow! That goes to any Corvette drifters, well make that any Chevy drifters. Till then, keep pushing those cars hard until FM4, cause then it’s time to start all over again..

Team Spotlight>> Team Fatlace

So, as of late there has been an uprising of a new VFD team that will hopefully be making an appearance in the Season 3 of the famous tournament. Many people have been preparing for a bit, and these group of guys seem to be getting the visual aspect of the team down pact.

In a sense, the marble effect changes the way the car looks entirely. You sort of have to double take for an instant to realize that there isn’t damage, any strikes, just that marble effect. It looks quite nice on the team’s cars’ and hopefully they all perform as good as the look.

This semi-overhead kinda explains that this team will bring the fire.

Not sure if all these people will have some involvement, but if they do this will be one of VFD’s biggest teams yet. Can’t wait to be checking out some leaked info on the new VFD teams that will soon start popping up after the release of FM4. Till then, stay frosty gents and start preparing for one great game.

Garage Spotlight>> Paradigm Systems

If you haven’t heard, there’s a new shop on the block. It’s a that’s ran by one guy that is designing cars to get better performance out of them. The shop owner’s name is Spawn613 and he is persistent in what he does. Paradigm specializes in areodynamics, weight reduction and vehicle customization. He changes cars’ aerodynamics to make them adapt better and give them higher capabilities without having to break the bank by going under the hood.

From fiberglass to older manufactured cars when they were made of steel, he can re-design them all. It is a fairly new shop and so far it has moved very quickly in it’s progress. People have taken a liking to their products and it definitely has something to do with their amazing prices! Most of the vents they produce run for less than 10k! Be ready to experience a big change in your personal driver whether it’s your daily driver or your weekend drifter! Check a few of them out below !

Their most recent product is the Osiris set of taillights match the Ford Mustang’s stable body amazingly! You can get the Osiris taillight kit and the Raptor2000 vent system all for 10k! I mean honestly, if you say no to that, you’re just plain insane. The small modifications on this car changes the performance drastically for the better.

There has been quite a few sells since the shop’s first release and opening. Fizzy has a pretty stellar Mustang with a nice flavorful colour that he added the fresh set of PS vents to add that nice look along with better performance. He even think so himself that he has noticed a difference in his car performance.

Nemesis Hybrid has picked up a new vent system from PS and he even agrees that his purchase was a great one. He rocks the vents on his newly attained drifter that he is hoping to take into the competitive scene. He has even gave the car a new name to match it’s new paint coat, Stacey. Good luck, Nemesis!

Well that’s all for now folks. Go over and check out this shop and definitely pick something up for your ride as it will for sure suit your ride very well! Before I leave the shop owner, Spawn asked me to leave you guys with a little hint on what the shop has in it’s garage in the working processes.
With that, be prepared to have the opportunity to put this hotness onto your cars for such low prices! Till then, be cool drifters.

Car Spotlight | Bagged Lexus

Bringing things back up to par for us is DFX Irish’s Lexus. This air-bagged car took VIP-ness to a entire new level. It was hard deciding on what topic should break the inactivity streak that was just derailed, but I think this contained enough epic-ness to satisfy the average low-lover.

Don’t mistaken it’s ride height for only being a show-car, because it can get out there with the big boys and throw it’s weight around. It’s mint-faded blue paint with a metallic cover gives this ride a sweet, sophisticated look to the vehicle.

Lexus has always been known to be photogenic cars, and this Lexus lived up to these high lens expectations. This shot describes this car so much. Black and white, yet so colorful. Simple, but so powerful. Don’t mistake this car for a light-daily, cause once you hear this V8-swapped Lexus roar, you will most likely do something dirty in your trousers.

Irish has definitely kept this car in mint condition over the short amount of time he has had it, and you never know if we might see this vehicle sliding competitively one day.

Forzahunters | Luke Lonberger Practice Run

Forzahunters caught up to Luke Lonberger to get a like media action with the fella and peep out what he has been doing under the hood of his recent build. He hasn’t been performing too well in VFD, but he looks to turn all of that around quite quickly from what he said in a small chat with a reporter. And by the looks of this film, it won’t be a hard road to journey.

VFD | Media Day 2 | Pt. 1

| Virtual Formula Drift |

– Media Day 2 –

Media Day has always been a fun event for Forzahunters to do, and this one was no exception. There was a great turn out from some of the best drivers in VFD. VFD always provide epic-ness from the drivers and everyone. We had tons of fun spotting the drivers 2011 season paints! Road ATL is definitely going to bring out some nice competition.

On Day 2, we specifically focused on two specific teams that we favored. We of course, had high hopes to see Team Hankook tearing the track up, so they came out and show us some love and let us get some one on one time with the famous team! We always saw Team Need for Speed out there ripping the track to the core. They have some new drivers and they have confirmed that they will be participating in VFD – Road ATL!

Here is Plankton & Nomad laying down some solid runs with his ‘S14 and Nomad’s Supra. Nomad was a privateer last season, and this season he has managed to hook up a deal with Team NFS and he is now officially sponsored by them!

HKA Tiger (a7xdriftking) came out in his 2010 Camaro and this bad boy ripped the track up! His Camaro takes off like a rocket once it gets in the horseshoe. This heavy missile is definitely going to take a few by surprise once it shows it’s crazy speed. He knocked out a few runs with Team NFS’s END Impulse. Impulse made the switch to a BMW Z4 from an Nissan R34. This drastic switch has brought nothing but success as of late and he plans to keep it that way. He has been getting some sweet practice runs earlier this week, so we have high hopes for the fella!

One sweet shot taken by our photographer, END Impulse. Lined up we have HKA Tiger (a7xdriftking), END I Plankton, END Nomad, and END Impulse.

Team NFS ripping the horseshoe up once they got things rolling. There was a sweet crowd that came out to see them practice a little. They for sure gave the people what they were looking for!

We summed things up by getting the two teams to line up and let our photographers and any other photographers with Media Passes to take some pictures. To get your media passes, contact PND Histuguya to get your replays to get your spots for pictures! Lined up from closest to furthest is END I Plankton, END Impulse, and END Nomad.

We managed to get the Hankook guys to cease killing the track to allow us to capture the sheer epicness of their stacked cars! These killers all have the potential to make it all the way, don’t be surprised if the podiums are absorbed by these guys!
